What is the difference between access control and a smart lock?
Access control is a system that controls one or more doors with per-person permissions, an electric lock and an exit button, while a smart lock is a standalone lock on the door itself.
Does the door open during a power cut?
It depends on the lock: some open automatically during a power cut for safety, others stay locked. We can also add a backup battery.
